A taste for Racing

The annual event, now in its4th year celebrates the Canberra Regions locally produced food and crafts, whilst enjoying a day of colour and excitement at the races.  With over 15 stalls expected to attend the event, it is sure to generate interest amongst the Canberra and surrounding community, attracting a diverse group of people.

The day also includes collaboration between Inspiring Australia and the award winning Chameleon Ice Creamery, who will be displaying a range of ice cream flavours throughout the day. Inspired by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, Chameleon Ice Creamery are feeling a little adventurous in the kitchen and have churned out a range of weird yet wonderful ice cream flavour combos, including a surprise Tooheys flavour!

To top it off, Questacon’s “Excited Particles” will be putting on their ‘Tasty Science’ performance, exploring the science behind flavour pairing and looking at how and why your tastebuds experience certain flavours. Performances are at 1pm and 3pm.

“It’s definitely a Sunday session with a difference” Chief Executive Peter Stubbs said.  “We are lucky to have the infrastructure to hold such a great event for people to come and see the colour and excitement of racing and the market atmosphere all in the one location”.
