Single Gaze Cleared For Spelling Paddock

After a round of vet checks at the Nick Olive stable, Vinery Stud Stakes winner Single Gaze has gone to the spelling paddock with the promise of a spring return.

Canberra trainer Olive says Single Gaze suffered bruising, as well as a pulled muscle in her stomach which will take a few months to come right.

Single Gaze crashed to the turf during the running of the ATC Australian Oaks.

The incident saw jockey Kathy O’Hara hospitalised and she will be out of the saddle for at least four months. ¬†
