Race & Taste
The Thoroughbred Park Race ‘n’ Taste returns for its third year, however we will be relaunching the Race 'n' Taste on Sunday 27 November.
Celebrating local and regional and Australian businesses, this free event invites punters to talk, touch and taste with talented food and wine producers.
As well as a full day of racing, the Race ‘n’ Taste brings designers, food and wine stalls and craftspeople together in a buzzing market atmosphere in the fully undercover betting arena at Thoroughbred Park.
The Race ‘n’ Taste is an important event, promoting and supporting local and regional industry. Patrons are offered an indulgent experience where local producers are connected with epicureans, enthusiasts, and those with an eye for quality and all using local produce or are locally based businesses.
Local wineries will showcase award winning cool climate wines in a wide range of styles from Sangiovese to Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
With an array of tasting stalls, educational talks, cooking demonstrations and cutting edge handmade goods, you’ll be delighted by the caliber of talent that’s on offer in our capital and its surrounding region.
Growing off the positive start in 2009, a successful event in 2010 the 2011 Race ‘n’ Taste is expected to easily eclipse the inaugural years attendance figures and establish the Race ‘n’ Taste as a unique local market.
