Nominations Point To Another Bumper Meeting On Canberra’s New Synthetic track.

The contenders for the ACT Trainers Premiership have nominated strong teams for Friday’s Canberra meeting on the new Acton synthetic track.

Nick Olive and the Keith Dryden-Scott Collings partnership have each trained twenty winner this season with Matt Dale still in touch with 13.

Dryden-Collings have a strong hand in the BM 65 with both Atlantic Sentinel and Crusader General nominated; with the former looking particularly well-placed.

Lord Denman for Olive will take a stack of beating in the BM60 off the impressive last start win but is also nominated for Saturday’s Highway in Sydney.

Dryden and Collings have That’s The Ticket and Star Aspiration down to compete in the CL1 and both rate to feature strongly; especially the former.

Dryden-Collings have nominated eight runners, Olive seven and Dale four, including Balletusa in three races.

Dale also has impressive last-start winners Clipper and El Bandito nominated for Saturday’s TAB Highway Handicap CL3 at Randwick.

They will potentially clash with three others Canberra-trained gallopers: Lord Denman (Olive), Iltextya (Luke Pepper) and Alone With You (Garry Kirkup).

On what we’ve seen, the Dale gallopers rate to run the quinella with Il Bandito looking the pick of the two.
