Christmas Party Race Days - Let us do the hard work for you!

Book in to one of our race days over the Christmas party season and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, great racing and fun for everyone.  Even the most discerning racegoer will enjoy a delicious menu, a fantastic comfortable environment and maybe even a visit from Santa!

Sunday 13 November - Christmas Party Race Day Shared/Private Marquees and Silks Room available

Friday 25 November - Christmas Party Race Day.  Shared/Private Marquees and Silks Room available

Sunday 11 December - Family Day.  Shared/Private Marquees and Silks Room available.  Jumping Castle and a visit from the Thoroughbred Park mascot, "Bobby" with lollies for the kids!


Or enjoy an afternoon at one of our many picnic tables on the public grounds and bring your own hampers.  Alcohol is not permitted inside the gates.

WINNING POST BAR COURTYARD TABLES

For smaller groups of 30 or less you can reserve a Winning Post Bar Courtyard table.  Bar tabs or consumption tabs and food platters must be pre-arranged.  For more information please click here.

Should you have a larger group and a race day does not suit your requirements our function rooms are perfect for dinners, parties, awards and conferences. 

Rich Reward Room

Thoroughbred Park Functions Venue Rich Reward Room

With the best track views, the Rich Reward room is located on level two of the Queen Elizabeth II grandstand. Accommodating up to 150 guests with a private bar and amenities, this room is suitable for conferences, weddings, cocktail parties or any type of special event.

Silks Room

Thoroughbred Park Functions Venue Silks Room

A popular venue for weddings and race day functions, the Silks room is situated on level two at the southern end of the Acton grandstand. A large spacious room filled with natural light and direct access to outdoor areas. Beautiful views of the Brindabella’s during the day or the track lit up in all its glory at night, this room is perfect to suit every event.

Black Opal Room

Thoroughbred Park Functions Venue Black Opal Room

Featuring floor to ceiling windows with a direct view of the winning post and overlooking the mounting yard, the Black Opal room is situated on the second floor at the Northern end of the Queen Elizabeth II grandstand. This opulent space can accommodate weddings, formal dinners and special events.

Exhibition Pavilion

Thoroughbred Park Functions Venue Exhibition Pavilion

This grand space can be transformed to accommodate large scale events with direct access to lawn areas and complimentary parking. A flexible space ideal for trade shows, market stalls or simply creating that spectacular gala event in a unique setting exclusive to Thoroughbred Park. Packages are available to accommodate theming requirements.

Winning Post Bar

Enjoy your next celebration in this relaxed and social environment complimented by a delicious canapé menu. Located on the ground floor with a private outdoor area next to the mounting yard, the Winning Post Bar provides an ambient environment for your next stand up event.

Owners Lounge

Thoroughbred Park Functions Venue Owners Lounge

A private and secluded room located on level one of the Queen Elizabeth II grandstand. With inbuilt kitchenette facilities, this room is perfect for accommodating small conferences and boardroom meetings.
