FELL SWOOP NSW COUNTRY CHAMPION

At the Horse of The Year Awards Functioin in Sydney last night the outstanding Canberra trained Fell Swoop won the Country Champion Award.

Fell Swoop won five races in the season, including the Group 2 Victory Stakes at Doomben, the Listed Chand MacLeod atMoonee Valley, and the Listed Testa Rosa at Moonee Valley.

His peak performance was in defeat in the $2.6 million Group 1 TJ Smith at Royal Randwick over the Championships being beaten by the world’s top rated sprinter Chautauqua.
