The Race ‘n’ Taste is a day event that will be run on Monday 26 April 2010 at Thoroughbred Park, Canberra Racecourse. This day is a public holiday in lieu of Anzac Day. The event will include over 60 stalls showcasing local wineries and local gourmet food stalls allowing patrons to experience the culinary delights of what the Canberra region has to offer. Cooking demonstrations, childrens entertainment and a 7 race program will add to the days highlights. Patrons are able to purchase wines and food from the stalls to enjoy either at the races at picnic tables. For those who would like to experience a 3 course meal prepared with local produce by our award winning caterers, and a matching local wine for each course, you can book into the VIP function in the private dining room for $70 per person.
