INFORMATION AND ENTRY FORM

After a successful inaugural event in 2009, Thoroughbred Park will hold the Childrens Fashions on the Field competition on Preview Day, Sunday 21 February 2010. 
 
There will be prizes for each division, and a gift bag for each competitor, and the overall winner will receive cash. Conditions Apply.

All contestants must pre-register to enter prior to Preview Day, Sunday 21 February 2010.

Entry will be by pre-registration only and numbers will be limited – so please register early to avoid disappointment.

A parent or legal guardian must register on behalf of the child. To register please fill out the form and fax to 02 6241 5697 or send to Fashions on the Field Register, Thoroughbred Park, PO Box 275, Mitchell ACT 2911.

Judging Criteria
Contestants will need to meet the same criteria for each gender. For example the girls will need to dress meeting the criteria for the Classic Ladies race wear and the boys will need to meet the criteria for the Classic Mens race wear.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – Children’s Fashions on the Field

  1. Rules on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
  2. Contestants may be in the correct age category for their age, as taken on the day of the competition – 21/2/10.
  3. Proof of age may need to be provided on the day of the competition.
  4. Prizes are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
  5. Contestants and/or their outfits are not permitted to promote commercially a brand, store or design.
  6. Contestants may not enter on behalf of a third party.
  7. Contestants must not receive any compensation or payment from a third party for entering the competition.
  8. All prizes awarded to the contestant must remain the property of the contestant.

The Promoter is Thoroughbred Park, Canberra Racing Club, ABN 21 423 896 409, Randwick Road, Lyneham ACT 2602.

  1. Employees of Canberra Racing Club, Committee, its agencies and suppliers to this promotion and their families are ineligible to enter.
  2. The Promoter shall select the judging panel and the judge’s decision is final. In the event of a draw the Promoter’s Adjudicator will determine the winner.
  3. One winner from each catagory will win a prize - value tba
  4. Winners will be notified on the day of the event.
  5. All entries may be entered on a database and the Promoter may use Contestant’s names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, unless notified by placing an X in the nominated box.
  6. Contestants agree that their image may be used by the Promoter and sponsors for future marketing purposes.
  7. Prizes are subject to change at the discretion of the Promoter.
  8. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  9. Travel must be taken between the months of April-August 2010.
  10. The Promoter has the right to cancel or postpone the event for whatever reason is necessary.
